Ampco, a division within the POWERMITE Group was formed in 1973 with the prime objective of specializing in the supply of industrial plugs and sockets. We are proud to announce our new share holders the HUDACO TRADING (Pty) Ltd, which are Black Empowered.Today we are the Country's leader in that field and we are proud to say that our products are used in all mines and industries. Ampco operates from very modern premises in Roodepoort (Greater Johannesburg area). Our Workforce compromises of about 70 well trained Members of Staff who operate within a well established machine park and an efficient factory infrastructure. Among world wide competitors, Ampco has made it's name in the manufacture of plugs and sockets in metal as opposed to plastic and our unique use of automatic CNC machine centres ensure the expected quality of our products. |
